I am truly so thankful for the team we have here in Samara. Most of all I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends in the wives! I am currently reading "My Heart In His Hands" about the life of Ann Judson. It is a great read. I originally read the "3 Mrs. Judsons" and I saw this current book last summer and I just had to buy it. Ann speaks of the intense loneliness she felt on the field. For 6 years she really didn't have any female companionship. She often writes in her letters how she had no other women to pray with or just converse with. Thankfully, I have 3 great friends that struggle with a lot of the same things I do. I wish we could see more of each other but with everyones schedules it doesn't always happen. There's always the telephone though and text messaging (one of my favorites).

(l to r) Heather Klassen, Alex Tahmisian, Sharon Moorhead, and me!

what a blessing to have such partners in ministry! i'm so glad God has given you such fellowship.
You are sooooooooooo blessed. I just love Heather- she's a darl! I only met Alex in Israel, I enjoy reading her blog too. Haven't met Sharon, but she's a heroine in my books already, with all those precious kids! I cannot wait for Matt and Rachel Floreen to arrive. It'll be such an encouragement to have them serving here.
So thankful for God's provision for you! I love those books about the Judson ladies too. The next book on my list is the original memoir or Ann Judson-a lovely little leather volume my hubby picked up for me after I read the 3 mrs. judsons!
