I am waiting for the girls to arrive for small group and so I thought I'd post. Not sure how this cake turned out but it looks good! I guess I'll find out..........the ladies are such good sports. They know that I often use them as my taste testers.

The cake actually turned out real well! I would watch the time though...mine may have been a tad bit overbaked. The frosting is delicious too. It's super easy to make too because you mix all the ingredients together........no adding one thing at a time ;))
Darn, I was trying to get a Russian dish, but I have to admit I was short on research time trying to get ready to go out of town, so I was going from memory.
