While both boys attended vacation Bible school from 9am - 12, the grown ups had free time. Actually, I didn't even know what to do with myself for 3 hours!!! I did a lot of reading, scrapbooking, cleaning, and preparing the meals. My mom knitted, read, and knitted some more. We didn't have any internet access so Jon was helpless and hopeless!
One morning all 3 of us visited the nature center. Here's what we saw:
pretty flowers,
an eagle,
marsh lands where I was viciously attacked by mosquitoes,
lava rocks,
meadows,
and an observatory which had a special telescope to view the sun
but it was too overcast this day!
