Winter Is Here

I have to confess that I am not a winter fan, even after living in Russia for almost 6 years.  It's hard for me to adjust to it plus all the work in getting dressed for the snow just to go outside for a short while!  Nathan on the other hand loves to go outside and is always asking to go outside.  The last few days it has been too cold to take the boys outside.  It has even gotten as cold as -6 Fahrenheit, but there have been some decent days where it hasn't been too horrible and the boys had a blast playing outdoors.

 

My angel made a snow angel!  This was one of the 

first snowfalls we got and the boys were pretty 

ecstatic to go outside and play.

 

This day we met the Klassens at the park and everyone got filthy.  The

first snowfall had pretty much melted and left behind a big muddy mess

but we still decided to go play at the park.  Let's just say that all the 

outerwear went straight into the washing machine.

 

We got more snow back and here we are playing in the courtyard of

our apartment building.  The boys like knocking of these berries

off the tree. They've been yelled at in the past for doing this by some

babushka but the berries are going to fall off anyway!! 

We're waiting for more snow!  The boys are anxious to make a snowman!
