This is our first full summer here in Samara and we've been heading down to the Volga with our friends and teammates the Klassens. The boys have absolutely loved going down to the shore, playing in the water, making sandcastles, soaking up the sun, and hanging out with their buds. Only problem is that even though we are fairly close to the Volga River we really don't have transport that takes us down to the shore. The other day it took us close to 1 hour just to get there...............but that's o.k. It is really worth it! Next time we go, I will have to take a picture of the treacherous hill we have to walk up to head home, but for now here are some pictures from the last few times we've been there.
This is what happens pretty much the whole time......Jojo and
his bud Bryce chase around Bryce's oldest sister Bri.
This is the lifeguard station and we've pretty much made the area
in front of this post our "spot". The first day we arrived the life-
guards seemed a little nervous with 6 crazy kids running around
but they soon realized that the mommies were actually taking good
care of the kids and they seemed to chill out after a little while.
This is "spinning man". He literally spins around and around
and around and around...........why? I have no idea!
