Best Ikea Purchase

One of the best things I bought at Ikea a few weeks ago was this craft thingy.  Not sure what it's called but it kept the boys busy for 1 whole hour!!!  Nathan now works on one a day and he loves creating new patterns with different colors.  It's great because while he's working on one of his "projects", Jojo and I have undisturbed time for school.

They're called "Hama beads." Google it and you can print off patterns for the kids to copy. We got 4000 before our rainy Scottish holiday and the kids made nearly 30 and used almost all the beads in 10 days!!

Ah good memories! That was one of John, Anna, and I's favorite indoor toys as kids in England.

Thanks Emily!! I wonder if Hama beads are more of a United Kingdom type of craft. I was telling Jon that these Hama beads are like a whole other culture!!!!
