Today I had a cookie exchange! It's always fun seeing what different kinds of cookies my Russian friends make. I've only made whoopie pies once before. I used the Pioneer Woman's pumpkin whoopie pie recipe, today I went with Martha Stewart's chocolate whoopie pies. My Nathan absolutely loved them! He couldn't wait for me to return so that he could have another one.
My picture of the whoopie pies don't look as nice as Martha's but they sure tasted yummy!

filling and chose to go with a cream cheese filling instead.
