Christmas Countdown -Day 12

  

Today I had to actually wake the boys up so they could quickly read the activity because we had somewhere to go. Now maybe most kids wouldn't be excited about our activity but my boys sure were.

A couple of weeks ago we volunteered at Children's Hunger Fund which is located in Sylmar in a beautiful warehouse.  We really enjoyed ourselves so much that I made it a part of our countdown,

 

Our task for the day was to pack black beans into small bags. These bags then go inside food pak boxes. The black beans are in those green bags.....and as you can see there were a ton of them.

Our reading today was from Luke1:46-56......Mary's prayer of praise to God.
